Lizzie & Gil | The Dallas Arboretum | Micro Wedding Ceremony
Along with many newly engaged couples of 2020, Lizzie and Gil's wedding planning was disrupted not long before their upcoming wedding date in the spring due to the pandemic. The shutdown completely shut down their beautiful, spring outside wedding at the Dallas Arboretum. Having to face the decision of postponing or canceling the day you have been waiting a lifetime for is no easy decision for anyone, especially in the middle of a pandemic. For Lizzie, Gil and Maryellen, mother of the bride, the joyous planning process had been happening for almost a year, but they walked out the decision with such beauty and grace and postponed their wedding until October because of course this would all be over by then. Right? Well as we approached the fall, Lizzie and Gil made the hard decision to only have an intimate ceremony in the Crape Myrtle Allee at the Dallas Arboretum with close family and friends. Though a difficult season to walk with your soon-to-be spouse, Lizzie and Gil's micro wedding (which is now a thing) brought with it beauty, intimacy and an amazing opportunity to cherish every precious moment with those they loved!
